If you are setting up e.g. dimension styles - those would include the scale as well.
So when you do apply a new style that would unfortunately set the scale as well, and I do not believe there is a way to prevent that.

Thanks for the suggestion. The idea of that specific operation is to start and perform the OCR process, so if you want to then copy your text to the clipboard that will be a separate operation, but I will check with our devs if this is something of interest!

If Mathew keeps the UI mostly at the default settings with his additional JavaScripts - he might have indeed never needed to export a settings file.
As per his suggestion - copying the JS and Stamps folders is all you need to transfer your stamps collections.

You can use the "Save Copy As..." command:

It is not by default in the File menu, but you can add it there, or even add a shortcut.
Save Copy As... saves a copy of your file while leaving you still having the original document opened.
