When using the office add-in, the document orientation is not considered
Hi,
Since the update to version 10.5.0 build 393 I have the following problem:
When I export a PowerPoint document from the toolbar (in PowerPoint) he orientation (landscape or portrait) is not considered anymore. All PowerPoint files will always be exported to portrait. Changing the settings does not change the outcome. It does not matter, which PowerPoint document I take; even a very fresh template does show the same error.
The PDFXchange version before this update did work fine.
If I print the same file via the PDFXchange printer driver, the document is OK.
If I use the addin in Word or Excel, the orientation is as set in the settings.
Can you please look into this?
Thanks and regards
Maik

Hello Maik,
Can you please send us screenshots of your PowerPoint add-in settings? Mine are at the default and are like this: Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello Maik,
It is visible in your settings that you have portrait set up. Please click on Landscape and all should be well.
Those settings will Force the paper size, and will override the dimensions of your PowerPoint sheets, so you need to make sure those are set correctly when using the add-in.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hi,
no, I tried that already.
It was on Landscape and I tried to set it to Portrait to see, if there was a change.
This are the settings now: This is the document in PowerPoint: And this is the outcome: I tested it thoroughly.

Hello, Trombomaniac
I am unsure why Stefan was unable to reproduce this issue, but I have successfully reproduced it myself and reported it to the dev team for further investigation and resolution.
As soon as I hear back form them I will return here to let you know their findings. Hopefully we can resolve this quickly.
Kind regards,

The new version of PDF-XChange Printer Standard (build 394), including the Microsoft Office Toolbar Add-In, is available since today.
With this new version, I am not able to reproduce the "orientation"-problem with "Convert to PDF" in Microsoft PowerPoint 2016.
@PDF-XChange Support and @Trombomaniac
Can you confirm this ?

Hello Willy Van Nuffel,
Thanks! Dan and I just tested again with 394 and are indeed unable to reproduce this any more, so @Trombomaniac - please update and all should be well!
Kind regards,
Stefan
