Arrange objects not work in standard way SOLVED

Hi
I draw a shape then typed a text, but the text go behind the shape, I tried to arrange it to be in front or arrange shape to back, but it does not work, as shown in attached image:

So how to make text in front? Thanks

Hi,

Shapes/rectangles are "comments" and always come in front of "base content text".

"Bring Forward" or "Bring to Front" will not help.

You can either:

1) change the "Blend Mode" of the shape/rectangle from "Normal" to "Multiply" (via the "Commenting Tools/Format"-tab), or

2) use a comment "Textbox" and change its "Stroke Color" (= border) and "Fill Color" (via the "Commenting Tools/Format"-tab).

It would not help. "Layers" in PDF is a misnomer, but the industry standard for them, so we were begrudgingly forced to use the term...
