Does anybody have any experience using OCR on their own handwriting?
What I'm thinking is, long blocks of notes that are easier for me to hand write out.
Not digital pen.
From paper, turned to images, added back to page and then OCRed.
Possible?
Sincerely,
SCH

Re: OCR - Own Handwriting: Results and Experiences SOLVED
Hello shade-cabin-hammock,
Handwritten recognition is quite different than printed text - and if there are any OCR tools capable of doing that - they will also usually need to be taught of the specific person's handwriting. Our tools can not be taught, so they will likely not work for your own handwriting well (if at all), unless of course you are one of those people who have a better looking handwriting than some computer typesets
Kind regards,
Stefan
