Convert selected pages to B&W SOLVED

I have a manual of about 100 pages that I submitted to FedEx for printing only to find it pretty expensive to print in color. I found that only about 20% of the pages really needed color and the rest had only a small icon committing the entire page to color. I would like to convert the mostly B&W pages to B&W completely. I have looked into the Convert Color feature and I don't see any option in the Conversion Profiles to convert to B&W. I see in another post on the subject here that such an option exists.

The build of my version 9.0 is 354.0. What possibilities exist for me to make this page by page conversion of color to B&W?

Hi Paul,

I went through the Version history and could not find a specific reference to when this was added. I believe it has been for quite some time.

Do you have the "Grey Gamma 2.2" option in your build?

Just set the conversion profile to that and click OK - it should give you a grey scale PDF that they can use.

Thanks, that did it. My edition does not allow this feature. I have to upgrade.
