Can't select specific annotation SOLVED

Hi,

There is a selection issue with a specific annotation in this file.

File sample_Annotations.pdf

Steps to reproduce
1. Chose the Select Comments tool
2. Click to select the bottom annotation

Issue
Can't select the annotation.

Additional info
- It's a special annotation type which neither PDFXCE / Adobe Acrobat / Foxit PDF displays in Comments panel (I think its intended)
- No selection issue with Foxit PDF

Thank you for reporting this issue to us.

This usually happens with elements that are not created according to PDF specifications (mainly MacOS applications do this).

But to be sure, I will ask our developers to look at this file and confirm or deny my suspicions.

Thank you for fixing this and other improvements in build 10.4.1.389.

I noticed that the annotation isn't displayed in Comments panel which is Adobe Acrobat and Foxit PDF behavior as well.

However, SumatraPDF display the annotation in its annotations window.

It will be great to if PDFXCE can also display those annotations as my main purpose is to batch delete multiple screen annotations.

Technically speaking, "Screen" is not a "markup annotation" and thus it is not able to matched into the same pane in a reliable way. The Team is looking to the future, and we plan to offer a special tool for handling these "out of the ordinary" content items, but for now I am sorry to say I do not have a workaround for you. At least now, the items can be selected and deleted manually.

You confirmed what I thought when I saw that Acrobat and Foxit didn't display it in their annotation panel.
