I need to create a legal-style redline comparing two documents so that additions are underlined and deletions are crossed out. When I use the "compare" feature it produces a comparison document that highlights and explains changes in pop-ups if I'm viewing it on-line, but I need to be able to print it and file it with a Court.
Is there a way to do this? I use to do it easily with Adobe.
Thanks.

Re: How to Create a Legal Redline?
Hello, kipbobroff
I am sorry to say that there is no easy way to get such output. The comparison tool is intended only as a digital aide to find differences, but it is not (yet) able to be converted to another format such as this. I will pass the idea along to the Dev team for review, but I cannot make any promises for an implementation or timeline. Given the complexity of the comparison process, I would not expect anything resembling a short timeframe on this however.
Kind regards,

Found obvious workaround, at least for text files: convert each pdf document to Word, then use Word comparison tool to create legal redline. Save as pdf. Voila.

Hello, kipbobroff@gmail.com
That may be the best solution for the foreseeable future, thank you for sharing it!
In the meantime, a ticket was made! Note this is an item for consideration, not yet a promise to implement, but we have a method to track it now.
