[Suggestion] Allow the user to specify the resolution to rasterize the exported document
Currently, when option "Sanitize Document Options (Sanitize Document will remove hidden data and metadata so any sensitive information will not be published with your PDF. Choose an option to be...)" / "Rasterize content with overlapping objects" is enabled, a very low resolution is used. Please allow custom resolution, or choose from 100, 150, 300 and 600 dpi options. And use a lower compression ratio than now - so that there are fewer graphic artifacts.

Re: [Suggestion] Allow the user to specify the resolution to rasterize the exported document
Hello Jensen Head,
Are those images shown at 100% zoom for the PDF file? Can we have one sample for comparison?
I've also asked my colleagues to take a look at this and consider this feature request and the result of the consultation is that we already have a ticket:
#5811: FR: Allow the user to specify the resolution to rasterize the exported document in Editor
And a developer assigned to implementing this feature.
I still do not have a time frame for when this will actually be ready though.
Kind regards,
Stefan

No, in the screenshots the document display scale is greater than 100%.Tracker Supp-Stefan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 1:46 pmAre those images shown at 100% zoom for the PDF file?

Hello Jensen Head,
Thanks for the sample file! It is not the same document as per your original image, but I could see the rasterization quality!
The ticket is in place - so we will be working on this.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: [Suggestion] Allow the user to specify the resolution to rasterize the exported document
Hello Jensen Head,
Ops - I should have looked more carefully!
In any case - this is a special file on it's own so it does require quite a lot of 'tweaking' to extract content out of it (as per the other topic where we discuss this same document).
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello, Jensen Head
From what I can see, it was implemented in 2022, the options are in the rasterize pages dialogue: Kind regards,

You're looking at the dialog for a different tool, "Rasterize Pages." However, the dialog for the tool discussed in this thread has indeed been modified in accordance with my request. The "Sanitize Document Options" dialog now includes a "Rasterization resolution" field, allowing you to select a value from a list of presets (72, 96, 144, 300, and 600 dpi) or enter a custom value. I didn't find any mention of this feature being added in the Version History.Daniel - PDF-XChange wrote: ↑Mon Oct 20, 2025 6:41 pmFrom what I can see, it was implemented in 2022, the options are in the rasterize pages dialogue

Please convey my deepest gratitude to the development team!
