Hello all,

PDF-XChange Editor allows color specification via color picker dropdowns in various places. These dropdowns can be broadly categorized into two types based on whether they allow setting a transparent color (None). When adding Rich Media using the Add Sound or Add Video commands, I noticed two points of concern regarding the Stroke Color setting.

1. The color picker dropdown displayed during addition lacks a None option, whereas the dropdown after addition does include None. The formats of these two dropdowns are distinct. I haven't investigated whether ISO 32000-1:2008 permits “None,” but at the very least, shouldn't the type of color picker dropdown match between the dialog at insertion and the properties after setting?
2. By default, the color is set to “None” in the dialog when adding, but in the properties after adding, the color is set to “RGB: 0, 0, 0.”

A third point to add to your investigation is that the "none" option actually doesn't seem to work... Even when the border is defined as none, a black border is still in place.

I am unsure if the issue here is that none is not offered in the placement dlg, as it could also be the none is not supposed to be compatible with these items and the properties pane is lying to us

I will pass it along to see what the Devs think here.
