Can't edit text in fillable fields

As the title suggests, I am unable to format the text in the fillable fields of my document. I am able to go under form/select field and edit the properties of the field as a whole, but I need to have multiple different fonts and font sizes for the text within a single field. The text properties are greyed out for any field I try to select, making it impossible to edit the text in any way.

I know it is possible, because one field, seemingly randomly, allowed me to edit the text via the text editing tools under the format tab.

In the properties of the Text Field, below Options, you have the "Allow Rich Text" option that should be set to "Yes.

Additional info:

1) You can activate the Properties pane, via the View-menu > Other panes > Properties pane,
or via the View-ribbon > Panes > Properties pane.

2) To be able to modify the properties of a Text Field, you should click the Form-menu > Edit form and click the field in question,
or via the Form-ribbon > Select Fields and click the field.

Thanks for the tips Willy!

H0RSE - I'm able to edit the properties of the field and, as Willy pointed out, once the field is set to allow rich text from the field properties, I can also use the standard shortcuts (e.g. Ctrl + B for bold) to enter different text styles and can even use different fonts, within the same field.

Please make sure that this option is enabled and should solve the issue.
