I have around one hundred PDFs of one page each.
I would like to insert them in one single PDF but I cannot find a fast way in PDF Xchange Editor Plus.
The only way I found is to insert them one by one by going to "Organize" -> "Insert". But it is very time consuming and it is prone to error since I may forget what PDFs I have already added or I need to still add.
I tried to select multiple PDFs to insert by holding CTRL or SHIFT but it doesn't work.
So, my question is: is there a fast way to insert all PDFs from one folder inside a single PDF?

Hi,
If possible, try to work with the latest version of PDF-XChange Editor (if your license allows) : v11.0.1
Combining multiple files in one single PDF should work in the following manners:
1) In PDF-XChange Editor:
Click the File-menu > New Document > Combine Files into a Single PDF
In the toolbar of the Combine Files-dialog-box, click "Add Folder..."
Navigate to the folder with your pdf-files and click Select
Complete the "Add Files from Folders Options" and click OK
At this time the list with files should appear and you can still change the order of the files and select specific pages if needed
Finally click OK
2) In Windows File Explorer:
Navigate to the folder with the pdf files
Click on the first file and then shift-click on the last file, to select them all
Right mouse click
Click "Combine in PDF-XChange Editor"
Make changes in the list if needed
Click OK
Kind regards.

Re: How to insert multiple PDFs in a single PDF?
Thank you very much. The first solution worked perfectly.
Regarding the second solution, there is no "Combine in PDF-XChange Editor" when I right mouse click the selected PDF files.

Hi,
In case the option "Combine in PDF-XChange Editor" is missing when you right click in Windows File Explorer ...
1) Maybe you have Windows 11 ?
Then please read the information in the following thread:
viewtopic.php?t=48351
2) Make sure to select at least 2 files.
When selecting only one file, the option in question does not show up.
Kind regards.

Re: How to insert multiple PDFs in a single PDF?
Windows:

Good afternoon. A problem of this nature. I can't merge multiple files into one document. I tried all the options below.
1) In the PDF-XChange editor:
Click the "File" menu > "New Document" > "Merge Files into One PDF".
On the toolbar of the Merge Files dialog box, click Add Folder .
Go to the folder with your PDFs and click "Select ".
Fill in the "Add files from folders" options and click "OK".
At this point, a list of files should appear, and you can still reorder the files and select specific pages if needed.
Finally, click "OK".
2) In Windows Explorer:
Navigate to the PDF folder.
Click on the first file and then Shift-click on the last file to select them all. Right-click
.
Click "Merge in PDF-XChange Editor".
Make changes to the list if necessary.
Click "OK".
When the window for adding files appears, select the necessary files, click Dotata, the files are not added - the window remains empty. But also the moment when I export pages from a PDF file to separate files with a JPEG extension - after this operation, these created separate files with a JPEG extension are easily merged - that is, when combined again into one PDF file, they are added in the desired window

Hello, Sorokin D.G.
All of our support, including the forms, are offered in English. You can use tools like google translate to convert our messages to other languages if needed.
Regarding this report -
1. I cannot produce the issue with the "new document > combine" menu failing to add items - just be sure, are you fully updated to V11.0.1? If not, please do update the software now as it could help here.
2. The issues with the "right click > merge with PDF-XChange" File explorer context menu are known, and will be resolved in the next release.
Kind regards,
