Spell check panel opens together with bookmarks panel when I press the shortcut Alt+B, even though the keyboard shortcut is only assigned to open the bookmarks panel.

Re: Spell check panel opens together with bookmarks panel [bug?]
Hello, MedBooster
just to be sure, the spellcheck window isnt already opened before you press ctrl+B, is it? Multiple panes can exist in the same space, and opening one will not close the other, it will simply make the two "tabs" inside the same pane, for most situations.
Beyond that, If spellcheck is not already opened before you do this, I am unsure what could be causing this, but so far I cannot seem to reproduce it. An export of your settings may help us to locate the cause.

Floating window suggestion and question close all
Yes, it seems to be working fine now, the keyboard shortcut, and crossing out the tabs one after the other at the bottom. This is good actually, that the pop-up window remembers which tabs you had open.
I know this is how it is supposed to work, let's assume it was a coincidence for now
(I remember I had not opened Spell Check, as I use the bookmarks panel a lot), but we can leave the thread up just in case it happens again
I had some related questions and suggestions.
[Question]
is there a way to basically exit the Window (same as crossing out with your mouse in the top right corner?)
these two did not work
for example, if you have a combined panel like this, it would be nice to be able to close them all with one keyboard shortcut and then basically have them all open again together when you press the keyboard shortcut to open one of them.
[Suggestion]
It would be nice to be able to use your mouse to scroll through these kinds of tabs just like you can scroll through the top main tabs.
And the more you are able to combine the better, but as we already discussed, you can't combine them completely freely ↓

Re: Floating window panel mouse scroll suggestion and keyboard shortcut
Hello, MedBooster
Those two options pertain to document content, not the application "panes".
As for closing and restoring panes, unfortunately there is no toggle pane visibility function at the moment. the best I could offer here is fullscreen mode (F11), but I expect that might be a bit much for the needs.
I will pass the idea along to see what the UI team thinks of it, and perhaps we can see something along these lines in the future.
Kind regards,

Re: Floating window panel mouse scroll suggestion and keyboard shortcut
Yes just some shortcut button option to close or open all of them would be nice, perhaps a button to place in the toolbar as well.
That's what's great about PDF-xce, that most functions you can bind keys to as well as placing shortcut buttons in the toolbar.
Just some shortcut to toggle these windows on and off universally would be great.
You got the gist right? That if you have 4-5 tabs on the window and you activate the window with one of the 4-5 keyboard shortcuts, you basically have to close the window with your cursor – or use all 4-5 keyboard shortcuts to close each tab manually, but then you have to do the same when you open it again.
edit: and the scrolling tab-switch suggestion don't forget to note that please
edit: not even the escape key exits the window (though it would be better if you were able to set it to a custom keyboard shortcut.

Re: Floating window panel mouse scroll suggestion and keyboard shortcut
Hello, MedBooster
No worries, This topic has been passed on to the team. If they approve, it may come along in the future. Until then, I cannot offer much.
(As an aside, scroll tab navigation is something that I have been asking for personally for some time... At the moment it is sadly, not likely to appear for the foreseeable future)

Re: Floating window panel mouse scroll suggestion and keyboard shortcut
Perhaps pressing the Escape key could be an option, if no object in the panel is selected (it would be a double tap to first unselect the item and then close all tabs if something would be highlighted/selected/in renaming mode)

Hello, MedBooster
Perhaps, but that is at the discretion of the Dev team. All we can do for now is leave the issue in their capable hands.
