Eraser and stamp preview [Suggestion]

With the eraser, it would be nice to see a faint diameter mark to see the circle area around the stylus tip you are erasing, while the tip is touching the screen.

However, with the stamp tool, it would be nice to see a faint preview when hovering (not touching) the screen. Meaning that you would see how the stamp would appear like (size/position) before you tap. Do you see what I mean?

Both of these features already seem to exist...

I just grabbed our surface tablet to double check because I was fairly certainly, and surely enough, there is a faint circle around the eraser when you are holding the stylus on the screen, it is more easily notable if you make the eraser area larger. Then, exactly as if you were using the mouse, hovering the stylus over the screen while the stamp tool is selected, it does show a faded preview of the stamp in question.

After reading my previous post on another topic, you have disabled the 'Show cursor' setting in the Pen & Windows Ink in Windows settings. If this setting is still disabled, the 'eraser and stamp preview' you mention will not appear.

However, from the title, your post might be a suggestion that you want the 'Eraser and stamp preview' to be displayed even if the 'Show cursor' setting is disabled.

Hmm.. thanks for the input.
I find the pencil icon (cursor) hovering quite distracting...
Maybe you could make sure that it only appears when you use a mouse, and not when using a stylus with the *pencil tool*

As previously mentioned... it would also have been nice to be able to turn these hovering cursors on and off for styluses from within PDF-XCE and not only the Windows settings like Rakunavi showed us.

What if you want to have it on (or the opposite – off) everywhere except PDF-XCE?

I have passed this on the the Dev team, but am afraid that they are quite busy at this time, and this is not a high priority case. They may reconsider it in time, but for now, the functions which windows offers are sufficient to control this.
