Hello,
For the beginning: thank you for the quality of your software. I must admit that I have not yet used all options.
However, I would like to express two wishes:
The first relates to viewing pages of a PDF document.
When a scanned page is displayed slantwise, I wish I could straighten it. Without changing the format of this page, from its center, be able to correct the tilt of its contents, either in an automatic manner or a continuous or incrementally manner to get a proper display. Although this feature exists with my scanner control software, I sometimes forget to activate it. Similarly, ReadIris Corporate 15.2 can achieve this automatically with a smoothing effect , which produces a substantial increase in the weight of the document. With" inkscape " a quality work is obtained but this requires to go through a png format registration which is then registered again in PDF with Adobe Reader; always with a substantial increase in weight. In manual mode , pages processed by "A- PDF Deskew " are displayed in PDF -Xchange Editor, but slobbering and all in black : a disaster! And " Scan Tailor " software cannot even open the documents that were previously managed by PDF -Xchange Editor.
The second relates to the managing of preserved pdf.
In the "View" menu , I would like a miniGED panel that would create a small tree that would manage 4 levels.
Level 1 : Users
Level 2 : Folders
Level 3 : Subfolders
Level 4 : Documents
Clicking on a user name, his folders appear and clicking on a folder, his sub folders or documents appear .
For users, the ability to display near their names, the number of files belonging to them.
For folders, the ability to display the number of sub folders or documents they contain.
For sub folders , the ability to display the number of documents they contain.
For documents , the ability to display the number of pages.
For documents, to have the opportunity to define it some status, such for example as sent, received or urgent
and for each status, to have the opportunity to define some sub status such for example as treated, untreated or waiting. And in relation to a status or a substatus, be able to display a sign (eg an asterisk) which will be adjoined to sub folders , files and associated names .
Of course, double-click on a document triggers the opening of the panel " Miniature"
In summary
In the 'view' menu, if the option 'Rotate View' is present with corrections by quarter turn, the option 'Straighten Content' is missing (Either by automatic mode or by setting). This function is provided by some software like " Nitro Pro 10 " under the name 'Auto deskew '. Qualitative working, without smoothing effect and with a retained weight.
Via "File-open..." , I can access all my files and folders but I would like to see on the screen only folders and files that interest me. The option in the Navigation Pane "Automatically expand to current folder" can issue tree views ,up to display all pages of a document as we can see in the panel "Miniature" but it is not integrated into PDF-XChange Editor Plus. Furthermore, it would be even better if the passage of the mouse on the documents involved the dynamic visualization of their pages. The management which is closer to what I want is offered by the software myDoc3D, but the documents can't be opened directly in PDF-XChange Editor Plus.
I don't know if you have time to answer to any or all of these requests. Anyway, I wish you a good summer.
Thank you.

Re: Interest for some features not yet supported
Hello rene philibert,
Welcome to our forums and thanks for your post.
While we do not have an automatic deskew option for existing documents - we do have a deskew when you create new documents from images. Also - for an already existing document - open it and then display the contents pane (View -> Other Panes -> Content), where you can then select the main scanned image and once selected - you can rotate it to manually deskew it.
As for the other feature - it seems more like a document management one than a PDF Viewing one, so I can not promise that it will ever be implemented. I will still bring it up for discussion on one of our next meetings though!
Regards,
Stefan
