Hey there,
could just find a Topic that hasn't been continued. And my old Post that. The Hint CTRL+V doesn't paste "in place" as we need to.
We need a function to copy and paste in between technical drawings in the same spot. So that you don´t have to scroll in to 500% to put the copied lines and solids in the right spot with using the arrow keys. Is there any funkction like that? (comparable to the Indesign function shift+ctrl+alt+V)
Are there any 3rd Party plugins maybe that can implement this?
Cheers,
Flo

Re: Paste in previous place
Hello Flo,
If you paste an annotation with Ctrl-V it should paste at the same coordinates on a new page/new document as where the annotation was in the original file. This works that way by default, and using mouse right click -> Paste will paste at the mouse position if the relevant option is checked in the preferences.
If however the pages in one document have been rotated - then the annotation might appear rotated.
Also - if the documents/pages are with different dimensions and scale - the annotation will paste at a "wrong" location.
Do you have any samples that you can provide that illustrate this?
Regards,
Stefan

Re: Paste in previous place
Hey Stephan,
i tried to Copy and Paste (ctrl + c & ctrl+ v) in the same Location (as you said "...by Default") but it doesn´t work. It gets randomly placed on the sheet.
I made a new document with 4 identical pages and tried to copy and paste a stamp (maybe that´s the Problem --> stamp)?!
cheers
---> Problem solved - Thanks!
