pdfSaver and queuing prints
In prior versions a few years ago, print jobs could be sent to pdfSaver and queued. Is that still possible? I don't see an option to invoke pdfsaver from the preferences window.
I tend to print a lot of websites and then want to combine them in a single pdf. That is a lot easier when queued so I can save once instead of n times.
I don't see how from here: https://help.pdf-xchange.com/pdfxs9/.

Hi, bqxmprij
Unfortunately that feature had to be removed due to some technical issues it presented in numerous versions of windows. We have recently begun discussions of attempting to bring it back, but at the moment I am sorry to say that it is not available, and I cannot promise that it will return.
Kind regards,

Re: pdfSaver and queuing prints
Bingo - exactly what I was trying to sort out here as well - we recently switched everyone to PDF-Xchange and now getting flooded with users wanting this feature that they had in the prior software.
So count me in for a yes vote on this feature.
Cheers!

Re: pdfSaver and queuing prints
New PDF-XChange Pro user here, resurrecting a zombie thread / request.
This is a big deal for me as well. I have been joining documents into one PDF in print jobs for years. It's particularly useful when creating a PDF from print jobs of multiple different programs.
I had uninstalled my (other brand) printer when I bought PDF-XChange, but I just had to put it back on.
I'm not sure what coding / compatibility issues there are, but a number of other solutions out there seem to handle it fine.

Thank you for the reminder, So far this feature has not seen a revival, I am just reaching out to the dev team again today to try and push for it again.

Re: pdfSaver and queuing prints
We are in the same situation as both vHPM_NAM and TBacker. Our company switched to the Pro v10 and our users are in need of the "collect" feature, which places the files from various resources into a queue so that the user can print to one PDF file. They had this ability in a previous PDF software.
It is much more efficient than saving a bunch of files individually to a folder and then combining. I was under the impression that PDFSaver had this option, but it does not. Is there any ETA on bringing this back, or is there something I am missing?

Hello, mholton
I am sorry to say that at this time, We do not have plans to bring this back. An unfortunate side effect of the changes made to bring many of the other improvements the printers have seen, as well as maintain compatibility with new versions of windows, are that this feature is currently incompatible with the systems we use.
Kind regards,

Re: pdfSaver and queuing prints
Hi all,
Could it help to set up a copy of the PDF-XChange Standard printer with the following options:
- not show the "Save As" dialog
- a standard File Name, like "Printer Queue" for example
- automatically append pages to the destination document (after the first print) = "Merge With Existing (Append To)"
- not run the PDF (reader) application after the creation of the file
Once that all the pages have been added: open the Printer Queue.PDF, verify it, and rename it.
Kind regards.
