Edit object Ctrl+A [Suggestion]

Edit object Ctrl+A

Ctrl+A does not select everything on the page with
the "edit object"-tool selected. You have to manually
drag and select with your cursor.

This functionality would be very useful in the single page view

edit:
one scenario in which this would be useful is;
selecting all contents quickly to center them to the page.

Hello MedBooster,

There is a separate "Select all content items" tool:

Which does not have a shortcut associated with it by default. You can try to assign Ctrl + A to it as well - as this should only work when you have the Edit content tool selected and should not interfere with the other Ctrl + A which is select all annotations.

However... that is selecting everything in the document, I want to choose everything on the active/current page.

It seems you already have this command too though

So it worked out in the end ... however it seems that even this command is not selecting base content for me...

*Maybe you could clarify if these tools are for comment elements, base content or both?*

I appreciate any help! Even when I don't reply to replies. That basically means it is solved. I wish there was a way to react to posts, without posting, to not spam you know.

Btw. I edited the post above to make it more clear what I mean

Hello MedBooster,

As you may already know, clicking on a page number in the Content pane has the same effect as Ctrl+A. You don't even need to enable Edit Object mode. If you have a lot of pages, you will have to scroll the contents pane, but at least it should be easier than dragging to range the entire page. I often use this method to copy the base content page by page and paste it as a stamp.
