OCR recognition of fractions

I have many scanned documents with fractions in them, like ¼ ½ ¾ .

At present the OCR tool is not recognising them. Is it possible to get the OCR tool to recognise them?

I have an active licence for PDF-XChange PRO.

The EOCR engine offers a handful of languages, one of which is called "numbers". This "language" should be able to recognize some fractions, but sadly not all of them. Please download and enable that language, and see if it helps. Unfortunately if it does not, there will be little we can offer, as these language packs are provided by ABBYY directly for use with their EOCR engine.

Thanks, I tried what you suggested, but unfortunately it made no difference.

Will just have to live with it.
