PROBLEME DES COULEURS LORS DE L'IMPRESSION
Bonjour,
Nous sommes équipés d'un copieur VERSALINK C7100.
Lorsqu'on imprime nos plans sur le copieur depuis PDF 24, nous n'avons aucun problème de couleur.
Cependant lorsqu'on imprime depuis le PDF XCHANGE nous avons un problème d'intensité des couleurs, comme si il y avait du gris qui se mélange à nos couleurs.
Ci-dessous un exemple de fichier type, à la visualisation du PDF aucun problème de couleur.
Et le scan pour vous montrez la différence entre les 2 impressions.

Hello Colin,
Please go to this folder:
C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color\
...and temporally move all of the colour profiles you see there ( all the ICM and ICC files) to some folder.
The system will not allow you to move all of them but this is OK. Just move the ones you can.
Then please restart the Editor and try again to print your files and see if everything is OK with the printed colours.

If you click the continue button in that dialog, you should be allowed to move the files, That warning is only in place because it is a core windows folder, and many applications do use color profiles. What Stefan is suggesting is to check whether any of the color profiles on your system are damaged, or are being incorrectly substituted to our software by windows.
You will want to remove these one by one, restarting out editor each time you remove one, until the colors look normal once again. After you do that, you can place all the profiles, except the very last one you removed, back into the colors folder, and everything should work as normal. Hopefully the next windows update, or drivers update for whichever application provides the problematic profile, resolves the issue on that end. You could also send us a copy of the problematic profile, if you wish, so that our Dev team can look into it.

Avec mon informaticien nous avons essayé plusieurs manipulations, donc celle proposée.
Celle proposée n'est pas réalisable, nous ne pouvons pas déplacer les fichiers.
Est ce que vous voulez que je vous envoi les fichiers ?

So if those are all your colour profiles - is the Editor still experiencing issues with printing colours?
When you are viewing the files on screen - are the same colours correct?
If you turn on the "Print as images" option in the Print Preview window of the Editor - are colours printed correctly then?

Oui nous rencontrons toujours des problèmes d'éditions.
Les couleurs à l'écran correspondent à notre attente.
Comme vous pouvez le voir dans les pdf transmis du document original.
C'est vraiment avec l'impression de PDF XCHANGE car avec PDF 24 nous avons 0 problème avec l'impression.

I struggle to understand that your IT team is unable to remove some color profiles from that folder.. All that is required to do so, is an Administrative permission/password.
To clarify, are you trying to remove all of them? If so, like Stefan mentioned, not all of them can be removed, but most of them should be possible. The ones which cannot move are the core defaults of windows, and if they were problematic, many other apps would be seeing similar issues. Please do try again, removing one color profile at a time, skipping any which windows truly will not allow you to extract from that folder. I have a template for this issue, as it is something that comes up fairly often because of our ability to use so many color profiles, and sometimes windows will mistakenly assign the wrong one to our software. I will include that template below:

Kind regards,This indicates that the issue is likely a color profile issue, and our editor is likely just loading a different color profile compared to your other applications.
Resolving this will take a little trial and error, Please open the start menu and type in the following:
C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color
That folder contains all of the color profiles available to your computer one or two of which is the cause of this problem, the quickest way to resolve this issue is to create a new empty folder, then do the following steps:
1. Close our Editor.
2. Move a handful of files from the "Color" folder, to the temporary "new folder". (i have 40 color files personally, so I would move them in batches of 10 to expedite the process)
3. re-open the editor/document check if the colors are looking correct for both viewing and printing.
4. If the issue is not fixed, repeat from step 1 until you find a "group" which does resolve the issue.
After you find the group which causes the issue, only then proceed to step 5.
5. Close the Editor again,
6. Now move all the color files back into the color folder, except the handful you just moved out.
7. relaunch the editor to verify that it still looks correct.
8. Close the editor again, this time move one of the remaining files back into the folder at a time.
9. repeat steps 7 and 8 until you find the one that do causes the issue.
10. Remove that one file from the folder, and place all others back in it. (you do not need to delete it, it just needs to stay out of that folder).
This should resolve the issue until an update comes out from whichever application/device/monitor provided that profile, with a new version that properly fixes the issue.

Les fichiers sont impossibles à déplacer ou à supprimer (même avec les droits administrateurs).

Okay, in that case, lets try a reverse approach. Can I ask you to create a duplicat copy of the color folder there, zip it up and send it to us here. As well as a screenshot from the Editors "Preferences (Ctrl+K) > Color Management" menu. So we can see which item is in use at the moment.

I just wanted to let you know, the Developer we need for this task is unfortunately quite sick and staying at home to recover at the moment, so there will be some additional delay in this investigation. Once he is healthy and back in the office, the investigation will resume.
In the meantime, you mentioned previously that using "print as image" prevents the issue, but the text is fuzzy, would it be possible for you to send us a scan of that particular output as well, to compare it to the others?

Thank you for your patience, I have spoken with Ivan since he returned and this is on his list of items to be fixed in the next release. So far he has some ideas and is testing solutions.
Depending on the rate of progress, we may get ahold of you with a pre-release build to try on your end before the next update comes out. If we not, please keep an eye out for the next release.
Unfortunately, it seems that this is not something which can be resolved with simple settings changes, and will require an application update.

Last I heard, we are hoping for a mid-April release, I have not heard of any changes in the past week that would impact that, but as with any development, planned release dates are subject to change based on many circumstances.

A quick followup, the dev team is asking which of the 3 drivers available to your printer you are using primarily, and if using the other options (assuming they are available) has any effect. The three we see on this end are:
PostScript Print Driver
PCL6 Print Driver
Xerox Global Print Driver
