One Edit Worked Can't Do Anymore

Just got a trial version of this software. Looks great but I made one edit, underline some text and now I can't perform any more edits. The first edit saved and everything but nothing else will work?

Could I ask you to please elaborate on what you mean here? Are the tools suddenly greyed out and inaccessible, or do they simply not allow you to place them in the Document? As a test, can you please try using the "Edit content" and "typerwriter" tools both, and tell me if either of them works for selection/moving of an existing object, or for creation/direct editing of any text?

It may also help if you could record a video showing what you try, and send us a copy of the file you are working with.

I tried making video but it won't work. Once it starts it says "something happened..." and then it closed down.

I have a pdf that I got from a client. I couldn't get that to work. So I made a new pdf from that using your software. I was able to underline some text in red. Got a phone call and when I came back I wanted to underline the next passage in green. The red underline is there and I can change the underline to different colors but won't allow me to actually underline. I can't highlight either. I can add sticky notes. Maybe it is the pdf but I would think that I should be able to underline and highlight, maybe just not edit the text. I need this ability or should say was hoping for this ability.

Can't do screen video. Get an error "something happend...." don't see a way to attached screen shots or file. Sent email to support...

This is just a copy of my reply to you via email, minus the images since they contain parts of your sample document.

Thank you for the email and samples, From what I can see, this is a scanned document which does not have any base content text present in it. All editing tools work, but the Highlighter you show in one of your screenshots, relies on text content to know where it should be placed, without that text, it cannot detect it should be applied anywhere.

To add text to the file, so that text annotation tools like the highlighter and underline will work, you simply need to perform OCR on the file. To do this, click the "Convert" tab, and then choose "OCR pages"

Specify the "searchable image" option, and then you can click OK

After that is finished processing, these text comment tools will work as needed

Looks like its working. Going to use this in demo mode for the weekend and try out a bunch of stuff. Got a big project that I need to crank out. So far it's looking really nice so I imagine that I will purchase this the first of next week.
