Sorting when merging similar to the PDF Editor

Is there a way to sort files in PDF Tools in this order?
_1
_2
_3
_4
_5
_6
_7
_8
_9
_10
_11
_20
_100
_101
and so on

When merging with the PDF, this can easily be sorted in this way.
I have not been able to do this with PDF Tools.

Hello Xmedia,

Please make sure that in your tool inside PDF-Tools you have turned on this option:

(Show extended dialog for files selecting)

And you should then be able to get a list of your files and click on the "Name Column to arrange them my it.

I would like to automate this without a dialogue appearing.

Hello Xmedia,

You should need to set that checkbox up only once for a specific tool, and then it should be remembered.
If you are passing files from a command line - then just order them before passing them to the tool.

I cannot influence the sorting in this dialogue.
Am I doing something wrong or is there another option?

After you have clicked the "Show Extended dialogue for files selecting"?


I do get the above one and in that one I can drag and drop files and I can also then certainly have them ordered by name.
