How to configure zoom with mouse scroll button without using the CTRL key?

Welcome to our forums.
Unfortunately shortcuts that involve some special keys (e.g. esc, space, delete) and the mouse wheel are not really configurable.
However maybe your mouse drivers allow a "click + scroll" to zoom in/out? If you configure it for your mouse in windows - it should then work in the Editor as well.

I asked how the devs feel about that. The software is not AutoCAD and they are not of the mind that we should be making it behave like AutoCAD. I am afraid we will not be implementing such a thing at this time.
