My request below was fulfilled by Ver 10.6.0 build 396.
I appreciate all the hard work and efforts of the support and development team.
==============================================================================
Hello all,
As previously discussed in this topic, the behavior of PDF-XChange Editor when importing and pasting bookmarks has been changed since build 388. In build 391, a new option "Resolve unknown Named Dest. on Import/Paste" was added to the Create Options in the Options menu of the Bookmarks pane (enabled by default), and can be disabled to allow the same behavior as up to build 387.
In PDF-Tools, however, there is no equivalent setting for the "Resolve unknown Named Dest. on Import/Paste" option, and it seems to work the same as when the option is enabled in the PDF-XChange Editor. Is it possible to set the "Resolve unknown Named Dest. on Import/Paste" option in PDF-Tools?
If this option does not exist and is not planned for future implementation, it would be appreciated if a similar option could be set. It seems to me that PDF-Tools is the software used by professionals and the percentage of users who prefer the same behavior as build 387 is higher than the users of PDF-XChange Editor.
Here are the results of exactly the same verification as I did in the post in the topic above. The top two lines show the results of enabling and disabling options in the PDF-XChange Editor. The bottom two lines are the results with PDF-Tools, but with the options enabled and disabled in the PDF-XChange Editor. However, the options in PDF-XChange Editor do not seem to affect the behavior of PDF-Tools, so the results are the same. All were verified with build 391.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
Best regards,
rakunavi
