No OCR for labels BESIDE images

I'm using PDFX Editor Plus Ver 8.0 Build 336 (Jan 06 2020; 16:02:16)

I've noticed that OCR recognizes words at the same elevation on the page in which there is no image; that is, on such "lines", there are no images, only text. But on sections on the same page with images, that have labels of the same sizes as lines without images, the labels are not recognized by Edit>Find.

Ex.
labela labelb IMAGE labelc labeled
labelx labely
labelz
labeled labele IMAGE labelf labelg

Labels X, Y and Z can be found by Find, but the other labels, a-g cannot be found - even though some may be the same words found as label x-z.

We're nonprofit, so if we can avoid having to upgrade, that will be nice.

I must apologize for being obtuse, but I do not quite follow what you mean here. Could I ask you to please provide a sample file, ideally a copy each from "Before OCR" and "after OCR" is applied to the file. It would also be helpful to have a screenshot of your OCR settings, so we can try to replicate and prevent the issue based on your preferences.
