If the "Allow Draw with a Finger Touch" option is disabled in the Commenting category of the Preferences dialog, it is basically (*) not possible to add comments by touch. However, I noticed that when guides are shown, only if you touch just above the guides, you can add a comment by touch or a dialog box opens for adding a comment. This does not apply to all comments, but only to the following types of comments whose size does not need to be specified when drawing.
- Sticky Note
- Attach File
- Sound
- Add Video
- Add Sound
- Add 3D
- (*) One exception is the unintentional addition of text markup tools (underline text tool and strikeout text tool, etc.) and text comments (typewriters and text boxes) when double-tapping. This issue is unrelated to guides, but has already been reported in this topic and further discussed in this topic. However, after an initial assessment, it was unfortunately rejected.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
