...would be more effectful with the oportunity to add a (sub) menu entry, like the given menus for "Zoom Tools" and "Edit Content".
Let's say I'd like to have some "Guide" functions in the main menu, so I could create an empty menu "Guides" in the "View" menu and then I could put all needed functions inside this menu.
If the menu itself could be edited to trigger a function would be perfect ("Edit Content" is doing so, "Zoom Tools" not, which is not that fine 'cause it needs another click to select the standard zoom)

Re: Customizing toolbars...
Hello Puffolino,
Are you using the Classic or Ribbon layout?
Inside the "Customize Toolbars" window you can create both new Toolbars and new ribbon tabs: Would that not work for you? If it does not - can you create a "mock up" of what you want to achieve and share it with us please?
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Customizing toolbars...
I don't use the ribbons for now (because of my small laptop screen)...
...I'd like to add sub menus - like this fake menu for guides - in the menu itself but alos in the toolbars. As far as I understand, it is only possible to add icons and space bars but no sub menus.
Addings such a function would allow to summarize many functions (e.g. bring to front, send to back, send back,...) to a single icon on the screen.
Post Scriptum:
The predefined submenus are divided into two groups: one are just a passive title (arrow indicator at the right), some are avtive functions (show a vertical line and an arrow)...
...I would like to see, that the zoom mennu would be an active menu as well (a behaviour seen in the old PDFXChange Viewer).

Re: Customizing toolbars...
Hello Puffolino,
I am afraid that it does not seem to be possible to do that in the Classic UI. The Editor was designed with the Ribbon in mind, and the classic was added later, so I am not sure if this feature will be something our devs will look at adding - but I can ask them.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Customizing toolbars...
Any chances to have more possibilities for customizing the menus?
It would be fine to add menus (see postings above) or/and change menu entry names/icons (see also here).

Hello, Puffolino
At this time I am afraid that we do not have a custom submenu item which can be added to the UI, and it is unfortunately not likely to become a priority anytime soon.
