Regarding the two descriptions for the Filter Files action in PDF-Tools SOLVED

• At the top of the Filter Files action in PDF-Tools you will find the following option, but "above" at the end of the description would be more appropriate for "below".
  
  
  • "Select only documents that do not fulfill the criteria above"
    
    

    

  The Filter Documents action and the Filter Pages action have the same option, but it is described as "below".
  
  Note that the notation in the online help is "above" for all three actions, both in the description and in the figure, so it would seem that these should be changed to "below".

• The function description of the Filter Files action is as follows. Compared to other action descriptions, "files" seems more appropriate here than "pages".
  
  
  • Sets criteria for automatic selection of pages to be processed in subsequent actions.
    
    

    

  For your information, the function descriptions of Filter Documents action and Filter Pages action are described as follows respectively.
  
  
  • Filter Documents action:
    Sets criteria for automatic selection of documents to be processed in subsequent actions.
    (sID or CtrlID : act.filterDocs.desc)
  • Filter Pages action:
    Sets criteria for automatic selection of pages to be processed in subsequent actions.
    (sID or CtrlID : act.filterPages.desc)
  Probably, the root cause might be that "ID: act.filterFiles.desc" corresponding to the description of the Filter Files action is not defined and "ID: act.filterPages.desc" is assigned by mistake.

As always, I am afraid I am pointing out all the super extremely minor details, but I hope it will be of some help.

Any report is helpful even if it is such minor issues as having the proper word for a given scenario.
I will pass the above to our PDF Tools UI devs as this is likely a quick fix and would not require a ticket, but if a ticket becomes necessary - I would certainly create one and post it here for you as well!
