turn off update program

Can someone please tell how to turn off the update program? I have turned automatic start off but updater comes up every day. I do not have the rights to install the update so how can I stop this?

If you haven't tried that already please delete these two folders:

C:\Program Files\Tracker Software\Update

C:\ProgramData\Tracker Software\TrackerUpdate\

...as well as the auto starting task in the Task Scheduler:

System restarting will be required after all of this is done.

I have the same problem as wannerlaufer and i did delete both "Update"-folders as described, then uninstalled the updated program version and installed the older version according to my license. But two days later, the program had made the update again (i did this four times yet). In the Task Scheduler i can´t find anything with "Tracker".

Is there anythng else i can do?

If updates are still happening automatically despite our updater being disabled/not running/otherwise configured correctly Than I am afraid the issue lies elsewhere - Most likely your security software.
For clarity, our default settings in the updater will never offer an update which would be incompatible with your maintenance plan. The updater itself is license aware, and will only offer you updates which can be covered by the installed licenses. One would need to very intentionally configure the updater to run at a designated time, and force the updater to include updates which are incompatible with your maintenance plan to encounter such issues. In most cases, the updater will still require user interaction on an "update available" notice before installing.

Regarding my mention of security software, A large number of security software's now, including many of the most popular options, such as Norton, now offer forced updates for third party applications. This includes our applications, and in turn can result in them forcing the update, even when our updater is not even installer on your device. You will want to check your security app's settings, and ensure that they are not forcibly installing such updates for our software, as their app has no way to check the coverage of your license key.

Thank you Dan, for your quick and detailed response! I have checked my security program "Avast" and i have found the general "software updater" there and did deactivate it. Since then, i did not have any unwanted updates , so now everything is fine! Thank you!
