Hello,
I am using AutoCAD 2025 to create pdf files. When I open them in PDF Xchange editor 9.5, I get a message that problems were found.
- Error loading object misaligned object
- Reference to an object was not described in any xref chunks

I can save them, and the error goes away, but quite annoying.
Also, Adobe Reader and Foxit Reader do not show a message when opening the same.
I will attach a sample pdf with the error.
Thanks.

Hello, McWeb

This is not an error in our software, but in the document itself, as the error message itself indicates. Unlike our competitors, who choose to silently address issues like this, we elect to inform you when such problems arise, so that you can identify the cause, and action it, instead of assuming everything is fine, as these kinds of issues, if left unaddressed, can lead to eventual data loss.

Much like our competitors, we will try to fix these issue with any save operation, regardless of whether or not you use the buttons in the infobar popup there, however, as there is a chance that fix attempt could fail, depending on how bad the damage is, it is best to know when it first appears, and continue seeing it if the issue has not disappeared.
In this particular instance, since you have identified that the issue comes from AutoCAD, you should reach out, and inform them that the files they are generating have these issues present. Hopefully this allows them to fix the issue at its source, and you can be confident that your files will be more stable in the future.

If you do truly wish to be unaware of any and all such issues (as it works in our competitors software), and understand that not knowing if the attempted fix has failed could lead to data loss in your files later on; you can open our Preferences menu, and under the infobar category, disable the "broken document" warnings on your device.
Do note that anyone else viewing these files in our software, if the error is still present when you send them the document, will see these same warnings unless they have also disabled these messages on their device.
