Suggestion to add a stroke eraser

Post by JimmyD »

I would like to suggest adding an eraser that erases the whole stroke, in addition to the current eraser.

Thanks in advance.

Hello JimmyD,

While I will bring your suggestion up for discussion - an alternative approach for the time being might be to set a (hidden) timer for how fast or slow your consecutive pencil inputs should be so that they are grouped together:
viewtopic.php?p=148833#p148833
If you set the timer to 10ms (as per the zip file in the above topic) - you are pretty much guaranteed to have each of your strokes as a separate object, and would then be able to select and delete those one by one without even having to use the eraser tool.

Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello Tracker Supp-Stefan,

Hello,

I would like to redirect attention to this post, as an eraser tool that allows erasing strokes is much needed! An eraser that erases only partial segments of the ink is great but is not sufficient.

Thank you!

Hello, Angio_Kiunn

Thank you for expressing your interest, I wish I could offer good news, but unfortunately this request has seen very little user support. I will note your attention on this topic, and hopefully we can see a priority increase in the future.
