Manually deskew option?

Post by cjholly@sbcglobal.net »

Why ask a computer to do a man's (woman's) job? I mean, computers are so literal! So sometimes due to image characteristics, automatic deskew does not perform as desired. Why not have a manual deskew option? We sad excuses for a polity in the United States have been taught by Burger King that we can have it "our way." Sometimes I can do a better job than an algorithm. How about it Trackers? Or is it there and I just don't know where to look? Or is there a hack?

Hello, cjholly@sbcglobal.net

If the whole page content is "base content" (most anything that is not "comments" or "form fields"), you can zoom out a bit and use the "edit objects" tool, to select all content on the page, and rotate the content by a few degrees with the mouse (below is a Gif animation):

It may take a few tries, but you can certainly give it a shot.
