Border Control

Sometimes I'd like to have better control for the spacing around text within a comment. Not sure if this can't be done by design or there is a tricky way to do that. My workaround is to flatten these comments (which may have some disadvantages).

Here's a simple example which shows just one problem: how to change the fill color of the objects without a change of the text position?

Hello Puffolino,

I would say that this is by design, as your text is actually higher than the height you have given to the typewriter comment object, so while the background is technically independent from the text - the box gets expanded int he same way as if you were trying to ecit the text itself:

And I do not think that the PDF specification allows for any better or more advanced control, sorry.
