Slow to render pages even when open

Post by lemonstar »

As an example of the problems I experience, a file as small as 130K with nothing more than a small company logo and a dozen lines of text on a single page is slow to render when you switch back to it from another open document by navigating by clicking on the tab (5-10s is typical). The same kind of problem exists when opening any kind of PDF, not just large files or files with many images. Is there anything I should check or set? Are there any known incompantibilioties with other applications e.g. Firefox 3.6+ etc. Office 2007.

I use XChange viewer V2.0 Build 41.4, XP SP3, etc.

Hi,

you are using a very old build - therefore I would suggest you update to a later release and then advise if you are still experiencing problems etc

thanks

Moving to build 51.0 is a noticeable improvement.

I have several machines in the house running XChange viewer - maybe I'm mixing up machines but it didn't seem that long ago that I upgraded - I should have checked before posting.

Thank-you.
