Have the Toolbar save a PDF in the source-dir

Post by Aquarius »

Hi,

Last year I asked for this feature:
Save: I would like to have a possibility to save the generated PDF in the source dir of the document processed.

Not possible - Windows does not pass this information or strore it anywhere as part of the print process - so we have no way of establishing the source files home folder - this is one of the most requested features - that unfortunatley we cannot meet
I understand that if I print through the driver Windows is in control.
But: If I print through the Toolbar: PDF-X is in control :P

Use it!
regards,

Will 'ask' the project manager responsible to look into - I doubt he would respond to an 'order'

Ha Ha Ha,

OK: I understand that I should have formulated my Request for Change a trifle more friendly :)

What I meant to say: if PDF-X is in control: use it to our advantage.
Pleezzzzz

:)

Sure - already disscussed and will try and include in build 3.481/82 in the next 2-4 weeks - it is technically possible - so it is just a case of time now.

thanks
