Can PDF documents be copied to a new file?

Post by Robert J. Kasper »

I have a 32 page PDF document and would like to copy pages 1-7 and place them into a new file. How is this accomplished using the PDF-XChange Viewer software?

Robert are you a developer using our developer SDK or an end user using the end user version ?

You message seems to suggest you are an end user - but you have posted in the Developer forums ...

If a developer - you need to use the extract pages function using Javascript - please see the help file/manual provided.
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Hi Robert,

To do this, you may use ExtractPages command. For more information, please, see PDF-XChange Viewer ActiveX SDK help.

If end user you will need to :

1: Open the source file

2: Create a new Document (File Menu - Create a New Document -> From Blank Page

3: Insert the new pages : Document Menu -> Insert Pages
