Turn off "analize urls" in Lite edition

Post by permb »

The "Links" settings is not available in the Lite edition so I cannot turn off "Analize URLs..." (hysterically funny spelling btw) which I want to since it modifies the appearance of my plain-text (non hyperlinked) URL:s.

Is there perhaps a registry setting somewhere that would allow this or can you please enable a checkbox for this in Lite edition.

Some people want WYSIWYG when they print. Really.

Please?

Hi,

"Analize" - yes - I see your point - will mention this to the appropriate individual.

Links are on by default in the Lite edition and I am afraid this cannot be modified.

To have control over such parameters I afraid the Standard or PRO editions are required.

Well, I can see that you want to charge extra for turning on a feature, but to charge for turning it off?
I'ts like that joke when the dinner guests pay the lousy violin player to have him shut up.
I guess it's back to Acrobat 5 then. Pity.

I hardly think the comparison is fair - a lousy violin player is always a lousy violin player - links in your example are not useful - but for the majority - they are.

If we turned it off by default - we would have many more users complaining of the opposite.

Further more - at $49.50 the standard version may be a little more than twice the price - but it is also substantially cheaper than Adobe Acrobat, faster and will create smaller files in the vast maority of circumstances - it also offers Office Integration, an MS Office and HTML batch converter and numerous additional features.

And respectfully - the support is dramatically better than Adobe - and free - even if you have not yet purchased.

However - I fully accept - you cannot please all the people, all the time.

Good luck :)

Yeah well maybe the violin player is good but the audience is more into metal...

Maybe a consideration for some future release? To not be able to preserve what you see in "Print Preview" is still IMHO a bug.

And thanks for the quick reply btw.
