Hi,
I observe a strange behaviour when the PDF Viewer runs within a terminal services client (i.e when the Viewer is installed on a terminal server or when I use a remote desktop connection). The problem not only arises within my own application which uses the Viewer ActiveX. It can be reproduced with the PDF-XChange Viewer end user application as well.
It goes like this:
1. On a windows pc (win7) there is a window with a terminal client session.
2. Within the terminal client window: Open more than one document in the viewer with a tabbed interface (see picture 1).
3. Activate any other window on the windows pc.
4. Switch back to the terminal client window (it doesn't matter how this is done, by keyboard or by selecting the terminal client window with a mouse click on the task bar)
5. Within the PDF Viewer you can now see repeated changing of the active document. If in the above step 2 the viewer was left with document 1 as the active document, now document 2 briefly becomes active, than document 3 and so on. Eventually changing of the active document stops. But a different document than expected is now active (picture 2). It is like ghost action.
The problem is, that a different document is active when returning to the viewer. This is very confusing.
As I said, this behaviour can easily be reproduced in different environments (terminal server and remote desktop connections).
Christian

Re: Viewer jumps thru open docs when returning to terminalcl
Thanks for this Christian,
we will attempt to reproduce this here. It will take a couple of days. I'll ask here if I need anything to get this set up.

Hi again Christian,
this has been reproduced and will be fixed though for now we cannot promise when. There is a Support Request Ticket for this: RT#2110: Viewer jumps thru open docs when returning to terminalclient
Thanks for the report.
