Hello,
a reason why I bought PDF-XChange Editor was that you are able to insert images which are PDFs theirselves. This is very important for me: When inserting our company logo it should be a vector graphic instead of a raster graphic in the resulting PDF. This allows to print it with any DPI setting and the result will always look good.
Here is my problem:
My PDF vector graphic (company logo) consists of lots of shapes. When inserting the image in the target PDF using PDF-XChange Editor, you are only able to move and resize it once. If the graphic loses focus I'm not able to select the whole graphic again. Instead, I can only select components of that graphic. Also "group"-selecting it by "drawing" a (virtual) rect around the whole graphic didn't work, because that also selected other elements in the target PDF document.
A feature to group the graphic to a single object would be great. Or group select by click+shift on such an object would be also a solution. It took me hours to move and scale my inserted PDF graphic the last time I used PDF-XChange Editor.
I'm a little disappointed, because PDF-XChange Viewer have had always a great usability and I expected the same from the supperior product "PDF-XChange Editor" when I bought it...

Re: Inserting PDF graphics
Hello Ulrich,
Have you tried to open the contents pane in the Editor?
It could be that your logo IS in a group of it's own there - and even if it is not - it's objects are likely consecutive in that list, and can be selected much easier from there. Once you've done your selection - you can move to the main Editor area to move them around with the mouse if needed.
Regards,
Stefan
