I often have scans or cropped pages that are smaller than a standard page print size (e.g. scanned passport pages, payment vouchers). I would like to have an option to place these in vertical order so they touch onto as few standard-size pages as possible (e.g. to reduce printed page count).
This feature is similar to https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... bine+pages but involves pages in the current document rather than a set of files.
Combine small pages into standard size pages

Re: Combine small pages into standard size pages
Hi chillrobot,
Thanks for the post - are you looking for a Merge Pages feature? If so, we do not have any such feature at the moment. You would need to add all of those pages to the same PDF, then use the Tile All Pages or Multiple Pages Per Sheet options, when printing to a PDF printer, to merge the pages.
A merge mages feature is being considered for a later release, but I don't have definite confirmation on if/when this would be done.
Thanks,

The Windows10 PDF printer doesn't have a tiling option.
I also have your PDFXChange 2012 PDF Printer, but I can't find a tiling option there, either.

Hi chillrobot,
The setting that I was referring to can be found in the Print dialogue (File --> Printer) of the Editor itself.
HTH!

For others who might look for this, for Editor v5.5 it's under File | Print | Pages Placement and Scaling | Type | (entries are in dropdown)
