As I mentioned before, I have two problems; the first one, is related to the third party software (IDM filenet) as you are stating in your post, ("But for sure it will only solve the problem with waiting for non existent events, but not with printing TIFF files from a third party app"); If I cjhange the tiff viewer to paint or windows picture and fax viewer, it works (not sure if this workaround will be accepted by our users); the second problem is related to text images; the printto works and the images is saved as a pdf file but the printer never responds to the waitforprinter events.
I have suggested multiple times for you guys to remote into my machine and i talked to one of your managers and he agreed that can be done, can we do it?
JO

Re: Having problems converting tif images to pdf
Hi,
Yes we will - BUT - I should say for the record if you are not providing the requested information (see Ivans' last post) its a little 'rich' to be criticizing us for not having agreed to your request. Support as I am sure you will know know and agree is a 2 way street - if your not able or willing to answer the questions we ask - this compromises and limits our ability to help you, even if you do not think the information is useful in your opinion, respectfully we are best placed to judge the value or we would not ask the questions.
Please advise a 'MUTUALLY' convenient time for us to 'teamviewer' in to your system and we will take a look - we also need you to sign and agree to our doing so to ensure you understand the terms on which we are prepared to do so - please email support@pdf-xchange.com with a link back to this forum posting and we will then provide you with details of how we will connect to your system and the agreement we need you to sign prior to doing so.

Re: Having problems converting tif images to pdf
John: My main concern is to fix the problem we are having, I am not interested in finger pointing; if you tell me what question I haven't answered, I will answer it; I thought I had answered the question by stating that I have changed the tiff file types from IDM find to Paint. do you need me to provide the exact registry setting for the change?
Again, I am not trying to be difficult here, I just want to fix these two problems we are having.
I will send an email to your support team with this link.
