Tools to facilitate the translation of PDF documents with full formatting preservation

Do I understand correctly that there are currently no tools in PDF-Tools that translators of PDF documents can use without having to work directly in the PDF editor? In particular, it is not possible to export all text elements for translation, for example, in Trados Studio, with subsequent import with the replacement of the original elements.

That is correct, we do not offer automated text replacement in any of our applications currently, so the only way to do this would be manually editing the files with the PDF-XChange Editor.
I should note that it is something we plan to offer in the future, but It is a highly complex feature set, and will not be something that is available in a short timeframe.
