Set stroke color to stamps images etc...

We've discussed this in the past, but I would like to formally request the ability to for example set a specific stamp to a specific stroke color, just not in post, but also setting it as the default stroke color attached to the given stamp. It would look much better in the comments pan – since I am often adding pop-up comments to stamps.

I understand that stamp colors wouldn't necessary be set automatically
But it would have been nice to at least be able to set it manually.
When you sort by color, all stamps just end up being displayed under one color... #C87EE7

You can set a stamp's stroke colour to your desired one:

And it will then be remembered when you are placing new stamps - they would default to that stroke colour.

hmm, yes I know, but it doesn't remember more than 1 color, if you switch between different stamps with different "stroke colors"

Unlike other comment types, where each "style" is a distinctly separate entity, and can hold these kinds of variables, unfortunately stamps have no such metric to record this data in a reliable way. Attempting to do so could result in conflicts, and as such is very much unlikely to change.

would it be possible to have a dynamic stamp where the stroke color would change the color of some part of the stamp?

E.g. if you were to set the color to some variable?

I am afraid that would not be possible. All content in a stamp is locked to its original appearance prior to selection for placement, except dynamic form field items, which need to be finalized and flattened immediately prior to placement. To my knowledge, not even this form data is able to inherit color values from the "to be placed in" PDF document, and is only aware of its own internal workings (within the Stamp PDF document itself).

At most, you may be able to configure the field JS with a color picker, so that during placement, the text content of your fillable form fields is set to the defined color, even then, I am unsure if field action JS is actually capable of making such changes to the field data.
