Hi,
The pin button is too small even with Touch-optimized UI enabled.
PDF-XChange Editor 10.3.0 build 386
Windows display Scale : 200 %

Hello, Loki@99
Thank you for the report, I see what you mean, touch optimized does not appear to have an affect on the size of these buttons, I will pass this along to our UI team for improvement in an upcoming release.
Kind regards,

It will be great to increase the Find bar and icons on it for terms search and bookmarks filter in touch UI as well.

The touch optimized UI still need improvements.

Hello, Loki@99
Thank you once again, these items feel appropriately sized to me, but I can understand how everyone has their own presences, have you tried changing the "high DPI scaling options" and restarting the Editor, to see if you can get it to a size that feels a bit better for your typical use?

The dev team is still reviewing this thread, so they will see this report as well, perhaps there is something they can do to help alleviate this in the future.
Kind regards,

Hi Daniel,
I tried different DPI scaling settings in PDF-XChange but there is still the same issue.
Well, the issue doesn't make the find bar unusable but making it and its buttons a bit larger will greatly improve the touch user experience.
Something like this

Especially the preview/next/three dots/cross icons on find bar

Hello, Loki@99
Indeed, there are still some areas for improvement here. A ticket has been made for this topic, while internal only, the ticket number is below:
RT#6897: Bug: Touch optimized ui improvements.

Hi,
Thanks for the ticket.
As there is a menu after clicking the search icon in the filter bookmark find bar. It would make sense to make to improve this area for touch as well.

The individual bookmark expand/collapse also need more padding.

Hi,
Properties, Document recovery, Bookmark buttons pannel should also be thicker in touch mode. They are hard to touch.

Btw, I noticed that the
Close button in Customize Toolbars needs a fix. Should be like the one for
Preferences.

Hello, Loki@99
Thank you for the screenshots, I cannot promise any changes, but the team will be looking at it when they can.
[Update: little info from the devs]
These other windows have this slightly changed appearance as part of Windows itself, we use their window "style" for more compact windows, which cannot be modified. They have said we may look into changing these in the future, but cannot make any promises that it will be possible.
Kind regards,

Hi,
There is a room for improvement with the
Save changes before document is closed dialog box.
Buttons size are OK but they are too close together
Screenshot 2024-05-30 090707.png
Solution
Don't change buttons size. Simply add some spacing

Thanks for adding this to T#6897

Hello, Loki@99
Thank you for the suggestion, In this case, I am fairly certain that the size of these buttons precludes the need to make such fine adjustments. I will pass it along, but as with any feature request, the decision to implement it is at the decision of the Dev team. Not every request will be implemented, so I do not want to get hopes up too high.
Kind regards,
