XChange Viewer wants to save in a "temp" folder

Hi Together,
I got the Problem, that the PDF-XChange Viewer wants to save either in the "Download" Folder or an "temp" Folder, instead of the "last used folder" (was set in the settings).

The path to the "temp" folder is: "User > AppData > Local > Temp > PDFXedit

How can I solve this?

Any help and/or Tipps would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Chipper

First I should mention that the Viewer has been discontinued for over 10 years, so we cannot promise it will always work properly on a modern operating system. I would highly recommend that you consider updating to its successor, the PDF-Xchange Editor, instead.

If you do wish to continue using the Viewer, you can configure the default save location from the preferences (Ctrl_K) under General:
