Convert Word Controls to PDF Form (useable)

Hi,

I am working on a form in Word that will eventually be converted to a PDF (using the PDF-XChange toolbar). There will be multiple checkboxes and text fields. However, they are not usable after conversion. I'm using the default controls in Word:

Is there any way to achieve this? It would be much easier than adding all fields afterward.

Thanks,
Stibi

Hello, stibi

I am afraid that at this time it is not possible to convert word forms and retain form field functionality. You will need to manually add form fields to the output PDF document.
It may be something we can offer in the future, but for now it is not available.

Kind regards,

Hello stibi,

Just to add - we also have an "Identify Forms" tool inside the Editor. So while not a 1 step process - if you do have the full Pro bundle - once you convert your file from Word to PDF you can then also try this one:
