I tend to have dozens of PDFs open (some of them books I am currently reading/will read) and it becomes hard to see the titles at some point in the tab title. The alphabetized summary list of open tabs is helpful but it would be even better if it was arranged in Most Recently Used order. Is there a feature request for that?
Curious if there are any tricks people use to manage many open documents..?

Re: Multiple Open Documents
Hi, bodhimind
in the right click context menu we have some options there to change the way they are displayed, for example, "Middle Ellipsis" will show the beginning and end of the file name:
Do any of those help?

Re: Multiple Open Documents
Hi Paul,
Actually they don't help much because my monitor is in portrait mode and the tab only shows 4-5 open tabs anyway (and I have dozens open). The only thing I can do is try to use the list or try to rearrange my dozens of tabs.
Currently I am using Alt + Left arrow or Alt + right arrow and this seems to respect tabs... but becomes really only useful to switch between two documents.
It would really be perfect if there was a way to display the list of documents open in recently used order (kind of how many web browsers have nowadays). (Some of the documents I am "reading currently" are at the bottom or interspersed throughout the list.)
This could be implemented as a configuration option to just change the sort order of the list (which may be developmentally simple) or even as a separate list button.
Furthermore, browsers also override the Ctrl + tab (and ctrl+shift+tab) to use this recent list instead, making it very easy for people to switch between recently used documents.

Hello bodhimind,
This list should show your files in the way you've opened them - even if the tab order is different: Kind regards,
Stefan
