I would like to open 2 floor plans and align them to each other with defining a common reference point.
Next it would be great to switch on simultaneous work, having the plans opened in 2 different windows.
It would mean, when moving / zooming in one plan, in the sesond plan would happen the same. Additionaly the mouse pointer in one plan would be shown as a copy in the other, in a different color.
The would be an enormous help for everbody out there working with floor plans.
Obviously the plans must have the same scaling. Defining the scaling for the plan (and all measuring instruments) should happen as a step bofore.

Hi, RobynBobbyn
thanks for the post and suggestion.
You mean like the "Split View" but in two synchronised windows?

Hi Paul,
yes, exactly.
I would prefer 2 windows on 2 screens, to have more surface in total.

Paul, some more ideas:
Connecting plans / reference point:
Reference points connecting the plans, scaling, should be saved within the file, to keep the setup.
One reference point, beeing the same in several plans and connecting them, should have a unique id.
So no path whatsoever is required to connect the plans. They connect with sharing the same reference point id.
One plan could then also contain different reference points.
Copy remarks/objects to synchronized:
A function to copy selected remarks/objects to the other, synchronized plan(s). They should appear at same spot, in relation to the reference point, not in relation to the extents of the PDF.

Re: Feauture request: Align 2-3 PDFs to each other (floor plans) and work simultaneously
Hello, RobynBobbyn
Thank you for the ideas, but unfortunately, the PDF Specification does not have an allowance for "reference points" like this, so it would not be possible to configure something like this in a way to retain it in the document. Likewise, mirroring selection and movement to other documents is unlikely due to the complications brought out by such actions. We do not want to damage your filed, and the format of PDF makes directly correlating any two items on a page, let alone in two different documents, extremely hard to accomplish safely.
Kind regards,
