When attempting to slightly change size or position of object with stylus, right-click menu may appear unintentionally

=== UPDATE ===================================================================
The issue reported below has been resolved in Ver 10.4.0 build 388.
I appreciate all the hard work and efforts of the support and development team.
==============================================================================

Hello all,

I have noticed that the right-click (context) menu sometimes appears unintentionally when trying to slightly adjust the size or position of a comment or base content object in the PDF-XChange Editor with the stylus. This does not happen when operating with anything other than a stylus. Also, the right-click menu does not appear when the same operation is performed with the stylus in Acrobat.

In the following verification video, the stylus is used from start to finish. As mentioned in the previous topic, since build 384, it is no longer possible to move the comment slightly when resizing or moving it. To work around this limitation, note that in the video the stylus is initially moved significantly, but is eventually moved back to a position close to the original.

Although the right-click menu disappears by tapping elsewhere on the screen etc., it is quite annoying. There seems to be room for improvement.

Hoping that the above information will be of some help to you.
Thank you so much for your continued support.

Best regards,
rakunavi

Hello rakunavi,

I have not been able to reproduce this in any way, but I will ask our developers to take a look at your report.

Maybe they will have an idea of what could be causing this on your end.

Regards.

Hello Dimitar, thank you for taking the time in your busy schedule to look into this matter.

In any case, just knowing that it does not seem to be the intended behavior is a step forward for me.
Please give my best regards to the developer.
I hope that the same behavior can be confirmed by someone else.

Best regards,
rakunavi

Hello, rakunavi

Thank you for the report, I managed to reproduce this and passed it along to the Dev team. it is not entirely random, as you can see in your video, the right click menu only opens when your cursor release point, it very close to the select/drag start point. This seems to be a side effect of the logic for accepting a long press as a right click, which usually just requires a time delay and close start/end positions.

Hopefully we can add some conditional for "extended travel" to prevent this from occuring in a future build.
