Area Highlight

One feature I miss from Foxit is the ability to highlight an area of the page, not just text. The Area Highlight tool works great for drawings or text that is not OCR'd (and you don't want to bother OCRing).
I used it often with diagrams, and I believe it is pretty simple to just subtract the blue color value (or another color value) to add a hue to the image in the area of a selected rectangle. It looks like the attached image (example from Amazon's 1-click patent):
It's the only feature I miss from my days using Foxit. (My current work computer has PDF-XChange but I still have Foxit on my personal laptop (although I prefer PDF-XChange much more overall.) I can at least add red-boxes around areas to indicate an important part of a diagram but it doesn't always look as good as the area-highlight option.
