Hello, rownies

In most cases, the default settings should be plenty. The "Accuracy - Auto" setting will determine which accuracy level to use based on the DPI of the images being scanned, so manual control is very rarely required. If auto does give a negative result, manually choosing Low could have some improvement.

Beyond accuracy, if the quality if very low, or there are odd patterns/blemishes on the page, you may want to disable the "detect skew/rotation" and "fix skew/rotation" options, to prevent the OCR from seeing a diagonal line as a reason to skew the document unexpectedly.

Kind regards,

Hi admin,
I’ve had some issues with low-quality images and snake gameweird patterns, and I didn’t even think about disabling skew detection.
I’ll try that, thanks!
